The Pokhara Enduro features challenging yet exciting courses that test riders’ skills in trail proficiency and endurance across diverse terrain. The course includes technical descents, rock gardens, drops, jumps, and tight turns across landscapes. Each stage presents unique challenges for experts and aspiring riders, requiring a balance of speed and control.

SS1 – PRO Trail


SS1 – Pro Trail (Seeding Stage + Race Stage)

This exhilarating 1.0 km course, purposely built for skilled riders seeking an adrenaline rush, takes centre stage at the event.

It features demanding terrain, including off-camber switchbacks and cascading drops. With an elevation gain of just 3 metres and a descent of 177 metres, the heart-pounding experience unfolds over diverse terrain. The average slope, ranging from a [ ] ascent to a steep [ ] descent, tests the rider’s technical prowess.

Navigating through treacherous rocks, the descent becomes a test of nerves and precise control. Each twist and turn injects a surge of adrenaline, pushing braking and riding abilities to the limit.

Riding down this trail is both a physical feat and a thrilling adventure that demands skill and courage.

SS2 – Predator’s Path Trail

This trail traverses a scenic 951-metre journey across a thick forest. It unfolds with a gentle 3-metre elevation gain and a 171-metre descent, revealing a nuanced landscape.

The lack of significant declines, except for the entry Chute, underscored the trail’s personality, defined by a series of switchbacks that each require a delicate body stance.

The trail offered both challenges and opportunities: an uphill grade of only 3 meters required careful navigation, while a 171-meter downhill slope allowed riders to refine their technique. This enthralling voyage not only submerges riders in the majesty of nature but also functions as a practical arena for refining their skills.


SS3 – Butterfly Trail

This is a new addition to the Pokhara Enduro Trail. Freshly built by the hands of those who carve magic in the mountains and tested and audited by the free rider Tenzing Gurung. The trail is aptly named, as riders seem to flutter along its entire length on their bikes.

The 1009-metre-long trail has an elevation gain of just 1 metre, a drop of 226 metres, an average slope of [ ], and a difficulty of [ ]

SS4 – Rock&Roll Trail

Distance: 1260 meters

This trail unfolds over 1260 metres, offering an exhilarating journey with a sequence of switchbacks, rock garden descent, technical single tracks and a drop.

It presents the riders with playful contours, inviting them to navigate with skill and enjoyment. Despite the initial excitement, the trail poses a significant challenge with its descent. Cyclists must maintain control as they descend through a janky rock garden at the halfway mark..

The stage records an elevation gain of 2 metres and a loss of 188 metres. The average slope varies: [%] on the ascent and a challenging [%] on the descent.

SS5 – Khel Maidan Trail

With its trailhead at an elevation of 1,240 metres, this trail offers an exciting experience, with an excellently maintained distance of 1.24 km. The trail starts with a steep descent through a wooded area. A fast-paced trail with rock gardens and a few drops joins a lower section trail with multiple switchbacks. With an elevation gain of 3 metres and a descent of 195 metres, the trail has an average slope ranging from [%] to [%].

SS1 features a tiny Jump section that aspiring enduro riders can easily cross; however, a “B” line is in place for those who would rather not risk it. This trail provides a dynamic and inclusive enduro experience, standing out for its thrilling elements and well-designed course that offers a fun challenge for competitors of varying ability levels.

The finale segment of the race is designed to test everyone’s skills on tight switchbacks and gnarly descents.

With its trailhead at 1,360 metres, this trail descends fast and furious. The trail starts with a moderate jump section and rapidly descends through a wooded area before making a hairpin bend in narrow singletracks through a lush forest. A fast-paced trail with many switchbacks will test your skills and keep you gritting your teeth till you hit the finish line.
